Tanghulu – Candied Strawberry

Tanghulu, also known as bingtanghulu, is a traditional Chinese snack. It usually use hawthorn berries as the base fruits. The sweet and sour taste of the hawthorn berries combined with the sugary coating creates a delicious and unique flavor.

Since I can’t find hawthorn berries in the supermarket, I am using strawberry in my Tanghulu.
